The Focal Trio 6Be is Focal's new three-way speaker designed to meet the needs of the most demanding audiophiles. Like the famous SM9, it includes Focus Mode that turns it into a twin speaker at the same time.

This new dual monitor from Focal with 1" tweeter, 5" woofer and 8" subwoofer is designed to be the benchmark in this price range. Extremely accurate and natural sounding, with extended stereo imaging , built to reveal the smallest details of sound, it can simultaneously play at high volumes and satisfy all musical styles. Using latest generation vitrified tweeter shows extended frequency response up to 40kHz. At the same time its low frequencies go down to 35Hz offering full control over the entire frequency range.

As a 2-way speaker the Trio 6 Be isolates the 8" woofer and only the 5" woofer and the tweeter work at frequencies from 90 Hz to 20 kHz. In this simple and clever way, a sound engineer can easily check if a mix will sound good on TV, PC , radio and generally on systems with a limited frequency range. Listening to essentially 2 different playback systems, but from the same speaker is the ideal way to check your mixes. A simple guitar footswitch allows us to switch between the 2 monitors from the listening position.

The Trio6 Be can be easily used horizontally or vertically by simply rotating the bass. In this way it is one of the easiest speakers to place.
