It has been upgraded with a hipshot bridge with top loading so you can pull the strings out without having to unwind them to get them through the bridge.

I have drilled 2 holes in the places shown on some pickguards to put in a thumbrest of my own design.

I will provide 2 thumbrests that I have 3D printed, all the pickguards shown in the photos, with the extra holes if the thumbrest fits you and without holes so that the holes underneath don't show if you don't use the thumbrest.
