Roy Buchanan - Hey Joe (Live From Austin, TX, 1976) At first he was called "the greatest unknown guitarist in the world," but within a few years Rolling Stone magazine declared him "one of the three greatest living guitarists." Sadly, the life and extraordinary talents of Roy Buchanan were cut short at the all-too-young age of 48, when a career marked by frustration, disappointment and alcohol abuse ended in tragedy when he apparently took his own life in 1988.
