Μπορείς!! Κοίταξε τα bold (και ιδιαίτερα τα υπογραμμισμένα)!! ;) ;) ;)
Method 1: Straight into a guitar amp
This method is the simplest to achieve but also the least flexible. Plug the guitar into the GT-8 input. Plug the GT-8 Left (mono) output, into the amp’s main guitar input. If you are using a guitar amp that doesn’t have an FX Loop this will be the only option. There are two major drawbacks with this method:
You will always be using the preamp section of your amp. If you use one of the Preamp sims on the GT-8 you will have two preamps in series (the output of one preamp feeding into the input of a second). This can make it considerably more difficult to find the right settings on both preamps to obtain a good sound.
All of the effects in the GT-8 will always be before the amplifier’s preamp. Some effects work best before the preamp (Wah, Distortion, Pedal Bend, etc.) while others (Reverb, Delay, etc.) are generally accepted to be better placed after the preamp. The effect of this ‘drawback’ can be somewhat mitigated by careful setting of the amplifier’s preamp and placing the effects where they ‘belong’ in the GT-8 Effects Loop.
Method 2: Direct into a PA board, FRFR, power amplifier, or guitar amp FX Return jack(s)
This method will provide the most accurate reproduction of the tones of the GT-8 since it eliminates the ‘two preamps in series’ drawback of the previous method. Plug the Guitar into the GT-8 input. Plug the GT-8 output jack(s) into the PA mixing board (you may want to use DI boxes for this), the FRFR amp inputs, the power amp input(s) or a guitar amp FX Return jack(s). Pretty simple and good results.
Method 3: Four-Cable Method (4CM)
This method is the most complicated (and requires the most cables) but it allows the use of a guitar amplifiers preamp in place of (or in addition to if you really want to) the Preamp Sims in the GT-8. It can also function exactly as method 2, feeding the output of the GT-8 directly to the power amp section of the amplifier. You can also use another MFX instead of a regular amplifier. This is an extremely flexible way to work with the GT-8 (particularly so because you can place any effect you like anywhere in the FX chain - before or after your amp)!
With the 4CM, if you have the GT-8 Loop On and the GT-8 Preamp Sim Off, you are using the preamp section of the actual guitar amp and it can be placed wherever you like in the GT-8 FX chain (it is represented by the Lp entry in the chain). If you have the GT-8 Loop Off, you are connected exactly as in method 2 and should use one of the GT-8's preamp/cabinet combinations.
Here's how you wire things up for the 4CM:
Guitar Out > GT-8 Input Jack.
GT-8 FX Loop Send > Amp Input (yes, right up front).
Amp FX Loop Send > GT-8 FX Loop Return.
GT-8 Left(Mono) Output > Amp FX Loop Return.
If your guitar amplifier supports stereo FX Loop Return (two Return jacks) you can also connect the GT-8 Right Output > Amp Second FX Loop Return.
Alternatively - If you have a second amp you can also connect GT-8 Right Output > Second Amp FX Loop Return.
