Long journey’s end
I’m not that old my love
The gods I can withstand, they’re half the man I am
And not too big to fall
So take my hand
And lead me through your door
The ancient olive bed I made awaits
To make us whole
And have me there
Your husband and your king
Our moans will put the sun to sleep
Our sighs will guide the wind
And see me bare
And touch these wounds
Of long and fearless battles won
Award them one and all
Long journey’s end
My son so tall
The poet calls, I have to leave
But know my love
