To Fairlight το είδα για πρώτη φορά στη ζωή μου το 1982  (7 χρονών τότε , ήταν ο ΠΡΩΤΟΣ δίσκος που αγόρασα -μαζί με το Speak and Spell των Depeche Mode- και τους είχα λιώσει και μαζί και τις κασέτες που τα είχα γράψει) στον inlay του δίσκου του Mike Oldfield (five miles out) που είχα αγοράσει και το χάζευα με τις ώρες (χωρίς να ξέρω ακριβώς τί είναι), αλλά από μικρό μου άρεζαν τα κουμπάκια και οι οθόνες .

Καταπληκτικό inlay γενικότερα το album , που είναι στην ουσία το multi track του ομώνυμου τραγουδιού.

Πρωτότυπη δουλειά ακόμη και στο εσωτερικό του δίσκου με το διάγραμμα της μείξης.

Όπως και με τον JM Jarre (ας πούμε για το Emulator III και το Zoolook), πολλές φορές χρειάζεσαι και ακριβό-πρωτοπόρο εξοπλισμό για να κάνεις δουλειά.

Πόσο καλό είναι το Arturia CMI V σε μορφή VST ξέρει κανείς;

Όπως και με τον JM Jarre (ας πούμε για το Emulator III και το Zoolook), πολλές φορές χρειάζεσαι και ακριβό-πρωτοπόρο εξοπλισμό για να κάνεις δουλειά.

Στο Zoolook o Jarre χρησιμοποίησε Emulator I και φυσικά Fairlight, μια και αυτό ήταν το κυρίως sampler του και ο ίδιος ήταν από τους πρώτους που το χρησιμοποίησαν εκτενώς. To Emulator III κυκλοφόρησε το 1987.

Μου θυμίζει κάτι παλιά custom (πανάκριβα) PCs που είχαν μόνο Windows και το GigaStudio επάνω τους.

Αν έχει καλή κάρτα ήχου και κοστίζει ~700€ (που είδα στα γρήγορα) είναι πολύ καλή περίπτωση.

Ναι, ρε cos αλλά αυτό το MIKO σίγουρα αν μην τι άλλο υπερτερεί στο VA ηχόχρωμα.

Προσοχή, η παραπάνω φώτο δεν είναι fake. Είναι το Bosendorfer 290 Imperial Grand Piano (ίσως γίνει και Grand Turismo μόλις το δει η πεθερά).

Πρόκειται για τo baby grand που λιγουρεύεται ο LK (εντάξει, πλάκα κάνω..  )
