Ο Blackheart για τα λεφτα του θεωρειται απλα ενας καλος ενισχυτης και τιποτα παραπανω (γνωριζετε ηδη οτι εχω τον little giant half stack). Δεν νοειται ομως λαμπατος ενισχυτης να μην εχει διακοπτη stand by ωστε να ζεσταινονται χωρις κινδυνο οι λαμπες πριν αρχισεις το παιξιμο.

 

Και βέβαια νοείται. Δεν είναι το τέλος του κόσμου:

People tend to forget that the stand by switch was only invented to keep the heaters of the valves on, this ment that after a gig break it was able to return to the stage and switch on and play instantly.

Things like valve radios and HI-FI units never had stand by switches."

 

#2 Q: People claim that noise or palying during that warm up period will shorten significally the lifetime of the valves.

A: "I do not believe that is true., and cannot see any reason why that should be, getting back to a valve radio this had a mains switch that meant that noise was there all the time as the valves warmed up. Also Remember amps like Vox AC30 never had stand by switches.

Don't believe all you read especially if it is from America."
