Description
Hello everyone! Here we have an excellent Japanese-made mandolin from 1970. It has a sweet and clear sound with a wide frequency range and especially high volume. It is an instrument that will be heard alongside others in an orchestra. The label inside reads Conqueror Quality model CM-815 made in Japan. This model is made at the Kiso Suzuki Nagoya factory and is considered a landmark model in terms of construction since it also came out with the Kiso Suzuki model 1130 and Ibanez Mandolin model 80 label. It is all solid wood with a spruce top, maple board and mahogany sleeve. The fingerboard is ebony and has bone string mounts top and bottom. The keys are the original and fully functional and hold the tuning as they should. The instrument is in excellent condition despite 50+ years of life and is set up with new strings ready to play. The hard case included is the original and is also in excellent condition. The clasps have some surface corrosion but are fully functional and close the case as they should. It carries a few surface scratches on the lid and one near the keys. Included is a pick, cleaning cloth, hard and of course the mandolin. For any other information please contact me, thank you.
