Gibson Les Paul Studio 60s Tribute Goldt

This 2011 Gibson Les Paul Studio 60s Tribute has been upgraded to rival the Collins and is probably better than the full Gibson.

2011 was the year they experimented with toasted maple fingerboards, however this one has a rosewood fingerboard, so a rare guitar. I replaced the Gibson p90s with Lollars, which cost over 250€. The Gibsons were muddy on the bottom and the Lollars are distinguished by a cultivated sweetness. I also added Bill Callaham cold rolled steel bridge (ground from a single piece of steel). This adds strength and bite. Under the magnets I added cold rolled steel support plates and finally a steel tailpiece and posts. The electrics have been upgraded with Mojotone PIO capacitors and new wiring. The body is two-piece mahogany with a maple top. It was used extensively in my Studio and has some dings, but is also starting to break down. Overall, it's a great guitar that sounds rich and clean with tons of power when pressed.

I have a hard case and the original Gibson gig bag, with the pickguard and aluminum alloy mounting plates.
