Selmer Mark VI Tenor Saxophone from 1965. Serial number No. 130xxx.
- Included are the original Selmer neck and two mouthpieces (Berg Larsen and Prof. P. Colletto No.5).
- Accompanied by the original hard case.
- Saxophone stand included.
Recently (this year) restored by a professional technician. All keys have been tuned and original caps have been reinstalled. Only original parts were used during the restoration process.
With this very rare saxophone, you can easily see that it is an original varnish, not artificially varnished.
It has a few marks and imperfections, however, our aforementioned expert
urged us to keep them to preserve the character of the instrument. As for the sound, a focused, deep and beautiful sound is of course expected!
This saxophone is a benchmark for every saxophone made since then, as it is simply the best and there is not much more to say about it. Anyway, what else can be said about this legendary instrument!
