With seven plies of birch and walnut, the Mapex Armory Exterminator snare drum has what it takes to cut through the band. These shell woods offer balanced tone, attack, and projection for a satisfying crack every time you connect. The dry tone of the Armory Exterminator works great under close mics. Top and bottom 2.3mm Mapex Power Hoops enhance the Exterminator's low-end punch, while SONIClear bearing edges widen its usable tuning range. Sleek Armory Tube lugs and a smooth-action vertical throw off complete the package.
